Our Housing Program & Resident Eligibility

Domus Haven provides a shared housing program for adults experiencing homelessness or housing instability who need a safe, stable place to live. Our program is designed for individuals who may have difficulty securing housing on their own but have a reliable source of income or funding to contribute toward their housing costs.

We also work with case managers, social workers, community agencies, family members/ friends and other referral partners to help connect eligible individuals with comfortable shared housing.

Resident Eligibility

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Experiencing homelessness, housing instability, or lacking stable housing
• Able to live independently and manage daily living needs without personal care or supervision (Including self-medication administer)
• Able to live appropriately and respectfully in a shared-home environment
• Able to follow household rules and resident agreements
• Must have a verifiable source of income or funding to meet housing costs
• Must complete Domus Haven's intake and screening process

Income & Funding Sources

Domus Haven accepts qualifying, verifiable income and funding sources, including SSI, SSDI, Social Security benefits, VA benefits, pensions/retirement income, housing assistance or other approved funding sources.

Individuals may also inquire about housing for themselves. All prospective residents must meet Domus Haven's eligibility requirements and complete the intake and screening process. Housing is subject to availability.
